Byway Atlas/Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy.

In brief: we collect the minimum amount of data, we don't sell it, and we use your email address solely to send the newsletter you signed up for. Updated: June 2026.

What data we collect

  • Email address — only if you signed up for the "Friday digest" newsletter yourself.
  • Technical data — standard server logs (IP, browser type, request time), necessary for the site to function and to protect against abuse.

We do not collect or store payment data — all bookings and payments are processed on our partners' sites, not ours.

How we use your email address

Your address is used solely to send the weekly digest. We do not sell, rent or share your email address with third parties for advertising purposes.

Affiliate links and cookies

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click them, the affiliate service may set a cookie to record the referral and attribute a commission to us if a booking is made. These cookies belong to our partners and do not give us access to your personal or payment data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Data retention and deletion

Your email address is held for the duration of your subscription. You can unsubscribe or request full deletion of your data at any time — simply contact us via the "Contact" page and we will remove your address from our list.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to request access to your data, rectification or erasure. To exercise these rights, contact us — we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date at the top.
